How collecting pubs works

Clock in when you arrive

Tap Clock in at the pub. The app checks that your phone is within 75 metres, then records the pub and the time. Nothing is typed in by hand.

Daytime visits count

A MYSOVA night runs from 08:00 to 07:55 the next morning, London time. A Sunday-lunch pint is a clock-in like any other, as long as the pub is open.

Every pub on a crawl counts

Each clock-in goes on your record. The XP for each venue tapers after your fourth of the night (0.7× for the fifth and sixth, 0.4× for the seventh and eighth, 0.15× from the ninth), and the pub still goes on the record.

A record you keep

Your clock-ins stay on your account for as long as it exists. You can export them as a JSON file from Settings, or delete them with the account.

It starts with your first clock-in

Pubs you went to before you joined cannot be added: a pub goes on your record only when you clock in there. MYSOVA covers London only.

Where the numbers come from

1,111 is the number of venues the app lists as pubs in its active catalogue, as synced to this site on 27 October 2026; the full A to Z is at /venues. The web map's 1,078 pubs come from open data as of 20 Oct 2026; the sources are on the data credits page. No pub has paid to appear on either.
