§ — BARS, ON THE MAP

A London bar map that knows who was actually inside

Short answer

MYSOVA is a live map of 2,400+ active London bars, pubs and late-night venues across 17 areas. Every pin carries a 10-dimension score that can only be submitted after 120 verified minutes inside the venue, plus a live count of who is there now. Free to browse. Live on the App Store.

What a bar map should show and usually does not

Every bar and pub on one map, all of them free to list

2,400+ active venues across 17 London areas — Soho cocktail bars, Shoreditch dive pubs, Mayfair members' bars, Dalston natural-wine rooms, Camden indie pubs, Peckham rooftops, Bermondsey warehouse bars. Four tiers govern base clock-in XP and venue-side tools, never map visibility: Ghost (in the database, no operator engagement), Verified (claimed and confirmed), Partner (opted in to Live Loyalty and Boost), Marquee (premium operator tier). The full list is at /venues.

SVS Score — a rating that survived 120 minutes inside

The SOVA Venue Score is a 10-dimension rating, and you can only submit one after 120 verified minutes inside the venue, checked server-side against the geofence and dwell clock. 100 XP per submission. The floor is structural rather than a moderation policy, which is why the scores on this map behave differently from the ones on a general listings site.

Ten dimensions, not one muddied star average

Atmosphere, music, cocktails, service, crowd, value, queue, lighting, decor, ventilation — each scored independently. A loud cocktail bar with poor ventilation and great music does not collapse into a single four-star average; it produces honest per-dimension data you can actually filter a night on.

Live Who's Here on every pin

Tap a pin for the live clock-in count and friend density, subject to each friend's Phantom Mode setting. Deciding whether to walk in or move on is the one thing a static map of London bars can never help with, and it is the decision you make four times a night.

Boost rings during peak hours

Bars can activate live XP multiplier windows that stack with area, tier, party size and subscription multipliers. The map renders an active Boost as a ring on the pin, so the highest-value route across an area is visible rather than guessed.

Live Loyalty Rewards, rendered on the pin

Partner and Marquee bars reward loyal and currently-present customers with opt-in perks: queue skip, free entry, table reservations, cloakroom comp, soft drinks, and (where 18+ verified and ASA/CAP-compliant) drink offers. A perk badge appears on the pin; redemption ties to your active clock-in inside the venue.

Same-bar, same-night Paths

Phone-verified members who shared the bar with you on the same night surface in your Paths feed. Mutual CROSS unlocks a conversation. Same-venue and same-night is a hard database constraint — you never path with someone who was not on the floor with you.

Areas, because a bar map without them is just dots

Each of the 17 areas carries its own XP multiplier and its own venue lineup, and each has a page of its own at /zones. Pick the area first and the map becomes a shortlist instead of a city.

FAQ

Is there a map of London bars?
Yes. MYSOVA maps 2,400+ active London bars, pubs and late-night venues across 17 areas, free to browse, with a live clock-in count and a 10-dimension score on every pin. The web preview is at /london-nightlife-map and the full list at /venues; the live version with Who's Here and Boost rings is in the app.
Does it include pubs, or only bars?
Both. The 2,400+ venues cover pubs, bars, late-night cocktail venues, members' bars, hotel bars, rooftops and licensed nightclubs. The product makes no operational distinction between a Soho speakeasy and a Camden indie pub — both earn XP for clocking in, both can be scored, both can run Live Loyalty.
How is this different from a bar list on Google Maps?
Google Maps tells you a bar exists and roughly when it opens. This map tells you whether any MYSOVA members are clocked in right now, whether a perk or a Boost is live, what ten separate dimensions of it score, and who reviewed it from inside. It is a map of tonight rather than a map of places.
How does MYSOVA stop fake bar reviews?
Two structural gates. Only phone-verified members can submit. And a submission requires 120 verified minutes inside the venue — geofence plus dwell time, checked server-side. Someone who never set foot in the bar physically cannot rate it. Astroturfing is not a moderation problem here; it is mechanically blocked.
Can bars pay for better placement on the map?
No. Tier governs base clock-in XP and venue-side tools (Boost, Live Loyalty Rewards). Tier does not govern map placement, feed visibility or search ranking. Every bar is on the map free regardless of whether its operator has ever heard of MYSOVA.
Are alcohol perks legal under UK rules?
MYSOVA is designed to follow UK CAP / ASA marketing rules, the Online Safety Act 2023, and the Licensing Act 2003. Live Loyalty Rewards default to non-alcohol perks (queue skip, free entry, table reservations, cloakroom comp, soft drinks). Alcohol perks require 18+ age-verified members and are reviewed against CAP Section 18 before publication.
