Self-referral (entrant referring their own additional accounts) is detected via device, account, and email-domain signals and disqualified. How does Phantom Mode affect privacy?: Phantom Mode is a universal privacy toggle available at every subscription tier. When enabled, the member is hidden from public leaderboards, Paths discovery, and the Who's Here surface, while keeping their private ledger, friends-only leaderboard, and Night Recaps fully intact. The Owl still remembers; the public does not. Phantom is also the rank-tier name for levels 70–79, distinct from this privacy feature.
