Islington

For the area itself, see the Islington nightlife guide.

1.3× XPMostly pubs, bars, cocktail bars

Islington is one of the app's 17 zones. A clock-in at a venue inside it earns the 1.3× zone multiplier, the same band as Bermondsey, Clerkenwell, King's Cross and Peckham. The multiplier is applied on the server at clock-in, on top of the venue's base XP (25 XP at most venues, 50 or 100 at some that MYSOVA features), your party size and your subscription plan. A clock-in outside every zone earns no zone multiplier.

Islington’s clock-in count appears as the zone fills up.

Islington’s ring reads 1.3×. Each dot is an open-data venue inside the zone on the web map.

Inside and near come from each venue’s open-data location, tested against the zone’s boundary from the app. Locations: Overture Maps Foundation (CDLA Permissive 2.0; Foursquare data under Apache 2.0) and the Food Standards Agency (Open Government Licence v3.0). No opening hours are given; check with the venue before you go.

Questions about Islington

What XP multiplier does Islington carry?

1.3×, the same band as Bermondsey, Clerkenwell, King's Cross and Peckham. It is applied on the server at clock-in, from the zone your phone's location places you in.

Which Islington venues earn the zone multiplier?

Only venues inside the Islington zone. 30 sit inside it on MYSOVA's open-data map, and this page lists them by name. The 10 under Near Islington are in the Islington nightlife guide, but 4 sit just outside the zone and 6 are not on the open-data map yet, so this page does not promise them the multiplier.
