LGBTQ+ nightlife in London: Soho, Vauxhall and Dalston

Much of London's LGBTQ+ nightlife is in three places: Soho and the streets down to Charing Cross, Vauxhall south of the river, and Dalston in the east. MYSOVA's catalogue holds the 12 venues below, each linked to its pin on the map. When you clock in from a venue's page in the app, you can choose Hidden, so nobody else sees where you went.

Before you go: your privacy on MYSOVA

Where you clock in can say something about you. MYSOVA's privacy policy says it does not use clock-ins to infer sensitive characteristics. These are the controls that decide who else sees them.

Hide a clock-in

Clock in from the venue's page and choose Hidden. You still earn XP. Nobody else sees that clock-in, friends included, and it crosses paths with no one.

Friends see the rest by default

On the default settings, every clock-in that is not Hidden shows the venue in your friends' feed. Hidden is the setting that keeps one from them.

Phantom Mode, on every plan

One switch takes you off Paths and public leaderboards for as long as it is on. It is free on every plan.

Paths needs two yeses

A Paths card goes only to a member whose clock-in overlapped with yours at the same venue. Nobody can message you from Paths unless you both choose Cross back. Turn on Hide from strangers and only friends are shown your card.

A block works both ways

Block someone from their profile and you are hidden from each other: on Paths, in clock-ins and on profiles.

Reports reviewed within 24 hours

Report a profile, a photo or a message. MYSOVA's terms commit to reviewing and acting on reports within 24 hours.

Soho and Charing Cross

FAQ

Can I hide that I clocked in at an LGBTQ+ venue?
Yes. Clock in from the venue's page and choose Hidden: nobody else sees that clock-in, friends included, and you still earn XP. Phantom Mode, free on every plan, also takes you off Paths and public leaderboards while it is on.
Who is shown my Paths card at a gay bar or club?
Only a member whose clock-in overlapped with yours at the same venue, who also has Paths on, and only if your clock-in was Visible. Turn on Hide from strangers and only friends are shown your card. Nobody can message you from Paths unless you both choose Cross back.
Does MYSOVA list LGBTQ+ club nights and events?
Not on this website. The site maps venues and does not publish events or opening hours, so check each venue's own channels before you go.
Is Vauxhall on the MYSOVA map?
Yes. The Royal Vauxhall Tavern, Eagle London and Fire are in the app's catalogue and on the web map. Vauxhall is not one of MYSOVA's 17 zones and has no area page yet.
What happens when I report someone?
Under MYSOVA's terms, reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours. You can also block them, which hides you from each other.
